Innovative interpretations and evolution is a source of inspiration for PAWAKA as well as Native American philosophy, modernity and nature. PAWAKA offers sophisticated statement pieces infused with a distinct perspective. Frames are handcrafted using only the finest plant-based cellulose acetate sourced from Japan. Made from natural wood and cotton fibres, the cellulose acetate’s bi-polymer structure can be custom designed to assume a wide variety of colours, textures, and patterns that are unachievable with industry’s standard injection-mould nylon

Each of our frames starts as a prototype handcrafted by Japanese artisans. It requires several variations for each frame design before reaching its final appearance.
