Seasonal changes, like the phases of the moon, symbolise cyclic alternation and perceptual rebirth. Seasons punctuate the rhythm of life. In autumn and winter we experience a natural decline in human vivacity. This is when we turn to nature’s riches and materials to succour us.

Aluminium is the most abundant of metals and can be found in the outermost layer of our Earth’s crust. It is extracted from a red clay-like mixture of minerals called bauxite. Aluminium is light yet robust — bright and reflective.
